Emirates Elevates Business Class Experience with Launch of Luxurious Loungewear
Starting February 1, Emirates is set to redefine comfort in the skies for its Business Class passengers with the launch of a complimentary, innovatively designed inflight loungewear set. The set, comprising a relaxed cowl neck top, drawstring pants, comfortable slippers, and a matching eye mask, promises the perfect blend of comfort and style, aptly termed the 'flight fit.'
Designed with the modern traveler in mind, the loungewear is crafted from a super soft premium modal material, offering a lightweight, breathable outfit that doesn't compromise on style or comfort. Reflecting contemporary athleisure trends, the set's cozy fabric comes in a soothing shade of light blue, with two size options to cater to various body types. Its botanic fibers and jersey knit style ensure an elegant drape, flattering different body shapes and providing soft, stretchy comfort above the clouds. Each set is neatly presented in a complementary drawstring pouch, containing an adjustable top and pants, a pair of warm slippers, and an eye mask.
Emirates' Business Class customers will be greeted with the loungewear set upon boarding, allowing them to change at their convenience and enjoy unparalleled comfort throughout their flight. On longer flights, exceeding nine hours, passengers will receive the full set, while those on flights lasting 2 hours and 30 minutes or more will be offered complimentary slippers and an eye mask set.
The introduction of the Business Class Loungewear is part of Emirates’ continuous efforts to elevate the onboard experience. This initiative aligns with the airline's commitment to ‘fly better’, demonstrated through significant investments in customer service enhancements. These enhancements include a massive retrofit project upgrading cabin interiors across 120 aircraft, the introduction of creative new menus featuring high-quality ingredients, exclusive champagne partnerships, a new hospitality program for Emirates cabin crew, live TV, an extensive library of inflight entertainment, complimentary Wi-Fi for all passengers, luxurious amenity kits, and a world-class wine list.
The development of the Business Class loungewear, a multimillion-dollar investment, took over a year, involving in-house design by the Emirates team to ensure the sets meet the highest standards of comfort, style, and reusability. The trial phase, covering routes to and from New York and Boston, garnered highly positive feedback from customers, many of whom appreciated the quality and comfort to the extent of taking the sets home for further use. This initiative not only enhances the travel experience for Business Class passengers but also reinforces Emirates' position as a leader in the aviation industry, committed to innovation and the well-being of its customers.
