Emirates has outlined a Valentine’s Day programme for 14 February, covering onboard service, premium lounges and inflight entertainment. The airline will introduce themed desserts, selected Champagne and subtle cabin lighting changes on the day itself. Celebrations will also extend to Emirates lounges in Dubai between 13 and 15 February, with limited-time menus and drinks, while selected Valentine’s dishes appear in lounges worldwide.

On 14 February, passengers in Economy and Premium Economy will receive a small gift box with a chocolate brownie filled with raspberry. Business and First Class customers will be offered the same brownie alongside a raspberry ganache tart. Onboard A380 aircraft, the lounge area will feature Valentine’s-themed desserts such as cupcakes, profiteroles and mini tarts, served alongside soft red ambient lighting.

Champagne service will also differ from the usual offering. Emirates has confirmed that First Class passengers will be welcomed with Dom Pérignon Rosé 2009, while Business Class customers will be served Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial. These selections will be available only on Valentine’s Day and will replace standard Champagne choices rather than being added as optional extras.

Away from the aircraft, Emirates is extending the theme into its ground experience. In Dubai lounges, Valentine’s cakes, themed cocktails and seafood paired with rosé will be served over three days. Across the wider lounge network, dishes such as heart-shaped ravioli, cupcakes and chocolate-based desserts will appear. The ice entertainment system will also highlight romantic films, series and curated music playlists.

The initiative comes at a time when many mid-February trips are already on the calendar, rather than planned specifically around the holiday. Instead of changing fares or adding special schedules, Emirates focuses on what happens onboard and in its lounges. Small changes to food, drinks and entertainment make the flight itself part of the occasion, blending easily into trips that were already booked.
