The Chinese cruise liner set sail on its first commercial voyage: details
The cruise ship owned by Adora Magic City has set sail from the port of Shanghai. It has embarked on its ten-day trip to Northeast Asia, visiting Japan and Korea before returning to China.
Three thousand passengers are on board for the cruise trip, while the liner has a total capacity of 5,246 passengers. This information was reported by the Xinhua News Agency.
The ship boasts an impressive size, with a length of 323.6 meters and a displacement of 135,000 tons. It features 2,125 guest cabins and accommodates 1,300 crew members, according to the Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (CSSC).
With 16 decks and a total recreational space of 40,000 square meters, the vessel offers passengers a wide array of amenities and entertainment options, including 26 restaurants and bars, 24 swimming pools (including one with a hydromassage), a spa, a casino, a theater, and a club for children and teenagers.
"The construction of large cruise ships like Adora Magic City represents a significant advancement in China's shipbuilding capabilities" - said SWS CEO Chen Gang.
