Carnival Glory Embarks on Transatlantic Journey to Port Canaveral
Carnival Glory, fresh from a comprehensive 21-day dry dock in Barcelona, is now embarking on a transformative journey to its new homeport of Port Canaveral, Florida. This marks a significant milestone for the ship as it sets sail on a 14-day Carnival Journeys transatlantic cruise.
During the extensive dry dock period, Carnival Glory underwent a series of enhancements aimed at elevating the onboard experience for guests. Among the notable upgrades is a redesigned casino layout, offering an enhanced gaming environment for patrons.
Additionally, the ship received a comprehensive refresh of its décor and furnishings across all public areas, ensuring a vibrant and inviting atmosphere throughout. A highlight of the refurbishment is the introduction of the Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge, a poignant addition that pays homage to military veterans and active-duty service members.
For photography enthusiasts, the new Dreams Photography Studio offers a creative outlet to capture cherished memories while on board. Meanwhile, wellness enthusiasts can indulge in upgraded spa facilities, promising relaxation and rejuvenation at sea.
Families traveling with younger cruisers will appreciate the revamped Camp Ocean youth space, providing engaging activities and entertainment tailored to different age groups. Additionally, the Space Cruisers program, featuring educational content developed in collaboration with the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, now boasts an impressive video wall to enhance the immersive experience for young explorers.
As Carnival Glory makes its way to Port Canaveral, guests can look forward to discovering a host of updates across the ship's public areas. Upon arrival on May 2, the ship will join Carnival Freedom, Carnival Vista, and Mardi Gras in offering exciting itineraries to The Bahamas, including stops in Nassau, Freeport, Princess Cays, and Bimini.
