Caring for service quality and community support: Denver Airport seeks new employees for its advisory committee
Denver International Airport (DEN) is seeking applications for three positions on its Community Advisory Committee. It was created to fulfill Denver's commitment to service excellence and community support.
The committee meets four times a year and is comprised of community members representing each Denver neighbourhood and Boulder market area. Ideal representatives should embody diversity in a variety of ways, including race, ethnicity, gender identity, national origin, age, ability, religion, sexual orientation, travel experience and perspectives, customer experience, business, construction, sustainable transportation and tourism, TravelandTourWorld writes.
By providing valuable insight, guidance and advice, the committee plays a critical role in expanding DEN's global presence, enhancing customer service and strengthening the airport's reputation as an aviation leader, especially as the airport prepares for an expected annual passenger traffic of 100 million passengers in about 10 years.
Candidates must meet general eligibility requirements, including being a DEN user, residing in Colorado for at least five years, being active in their community (excluding elected officials), and not being employed by DEN or airport-related businesses.
The Citizens Advisory Committee encourages representatives from any metro area to apply. However, the airport is particularly looking for candidates from Douglas and Jefferson counties to fill two of the available vacancies.
