Canadian national airline Air Canada to resume flights to Israel
Air Canada has announced its intention to resume flights to Israel. Thus, the Canadian air carrier may perform its first flight in April this year.
It is noted that this will be the first time after the cancellation of flights to Tel Aviv since the beginning of the Hamas militant attack on southern Israel on October 7 last year. This was reported by Yahoo Finance.
"We are currently finalizing the logistics for a possible resumption of flights in April," the Air Canada press service said.
At the same time, United Airlines has already announced its intention to return flights to Israel. The airline plans to resume flights to Israel from the United States in early April and become the first American carrier to do so this year.
It is noted that this decision could be a turning point and the resumption of travel to Israel since the decline in tourism due to the potentially dangerous situation and aggressive actions of Hamas, as well as further Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip.
Earlier, TravelWise reported that Ryanair will add new flights in the summer of 2024.
