British tourists warned of rising passport prices
Britons are warned to hurry up with applying for new passports due to rising prices.
Costs have already risen in recent years, with a nine percent increase in passport production last summer, LADbible reports.
Now the government has warned that there will be another increase this summer. This means that waiting too long to get your passport renewed could result in even higher spendings.
Starting April 11, the cost of renewing a passport will rise by about 7 percent.
In real terms, this means that a new adult passport will cost £88.50 and a child's passport will cost £57.50. A postal application for an adult will cost £100, and for a child - £69.
