In a significant move to streamline the travel experience, BigPay, Southeast Asia's leading finance app, has launched BigPay TravelEasy, a comprehensive travel insurance solution in partnership with Tune Protect Malaysia. Starting today, users can seamlessly apply for travel insurance within the BigPay app, making the process both quick and convenient.

BigPay's strategic expansion to include BigPay TravelEasy underscores its commitment to enhancing the travel payment experience. This latest development is part of a series of initiatives, including the earlier launch of DuitNow Cross-Border QR Payment, facilitating payments across Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, and China.

Zubin Rada Krishnan, Group CEO of BigPay, emphasizes the ease and affordability of obtaining travel insurance with TravelEasy. “It’s often easy to forget buying travel insurance. With TravelEasy, it’s done in minutes before your flight, offering peace of mind," he states. This sentiment is echoed by Jubin Mehta, CEO of Tune Protect Malaysia, highlighting the importance of seamless service delivery on platforms where consumers are already engaged.

TravelEasy offers worldwide coverage with plans starting at RM35 for international journeys, covering accidents, medical emergencies, and travel inconveniences like baggage loss and delays. This initiative reflects BigPay's dedication to providing comprehensive travel solutions, following its October 2023 integration with the airasia superapp for seamless travel bookings.

BigPay, established in 2017, is a fintech company committed to enhancing Southeast Asian lives through diverse digital financial services. Part of MOVE Digital under Capital A Berhad, it offers services ranging from cross-border payments to credit and personal loans.
