Around the world cruise trip: Holland America Line prepares to cover 7 continents in 2026
For tourists who dream of visiting all seven continents, Holland America Line has prepared an incredible offer. In 2026, the company is organizing a grand round-the-world trip that will last 132 days and cover 47 ports in 39 countries.
Passengers need to get to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where this unforgettable journey will begin and end. According to USA Today, the company took into account the wishes of tourists when organizing the route.
The cruise will begin on January 4, 2026, on the Volendam liner, designed for 1432 guests. The ship will sail along the east coast of South America and then head to Antarctica, where travelers will have a four-day expedition.
After that, the ship will head to the South Pacific, where guests will be able to see the amazing landscapes of Australia and explore the Great Barrier Reef. The route will then go through Singapore, the Maldives, the Mediterranean, and Northern Europe.
The journey will end with a transatlantic crossing with a stop in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Passengers will have the opportunity to spend the night in Rio de Janeiro, Sydney, Bali, and Alexandria. Five-night departures are also planned, in particular, from Civitavecchia, Oslo, and San Juan.
Travelers will enjoy not only the aforementioned tourist resorts, but also visits to Easter Island, Adamstown on the Pitcairn Islands, and Bordeaux in France.
Information on prices for the 2026 cruise will be available later, and booking will open in May.
