AirAsia has announced the reintroduction of its popular direct route from Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport to Hat Yai, a key city in southern Thailand, known for its vibrant commerce and tourism. Starting from July 1, 2024, travelers can now enjoy the convenience of choosing flights from either Don Mueang Airport, with up to eight flights daily, or a daily flight from Suvarnabhumi Airport.
AirAsia has opened bookings for these flights with a promotional fare one-way. Special price is available through AirAsia MOVE from April 17, 2024, to May 17, 2024, for travel starting from July 1, 2024.
Ms. Tansita Akraritpirom, Head of Commercial for Thai AirAsia, commented on the route's success and its appeal to travelers, highlighting the consistently high load factor of 95 percent on the Don Mueang-Hat Yai route throughout 2023. She expressed gratitude towards the travelers and local communities for their continued support, which has led to the resumption of the Suvarnabhumi-Hat Yai service. Ms. Tansita also emphasized the airline's commitment to providing travelers with flexible airport options, enhancing their travel experience.
AirAsia is recognized for its punctuality and extensive network in the Thai south, offering 17 domestic routes and up to 391 flights weekly.
