Air France Gears Up for Summer 2024: New Destinations and Cabin Rollouts
In anticipation of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Air France is broadening its horizons with an expanded global network, embracing 189 destinations across 74 countries. This summer marks the launch of several exciting new routes from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to international gems like Phoenix, Verona, Kalamata, and Narvik-Lofoten, alongside a notable 9% increase in long-haul capacity.
With the world’s eyes on France, Air France is enhancing its offerings, including daily flights to Minneapolis and a direct service to Phoenix, Arizona, aboard the Boeing 787-9. The airline’s commitment to supporting major events is highlighted by two special flights between Los Angeles and Nice for the Cannes Film Festival.
The expansion doesn't stop in North America. Air France is extending services to Abu Dhabi and resuming flights to Dar Es Salam, Tanzania, as a continuation of Zanzibar. Increased flights to Japan and key destinations in Africa and the Indian Ocean showcase the airline’s dedication to global connectivity. On the innovation front, Air France continues the rollout of new long-haul cabins, promising an upgraded travel experience across its Boeing 777-300ERs and Airbus A350-900s.
Europe and domestic France will see 45 seasonal routes, including new connections to Verona, Narvik-Lofoten, and Kalamata, further diversifying travel options. Meanwhile, Transavia France leads as the top low-cost carrier from Paris, covering 116 destinations in 33 countries. This summer, Air France not only aims to connect the world to the Olympic spirit but also to offer an unparalleled journey to diverse and captivating destinations.
