Air Arabia Egypt will launch new flights from Cairo to Istanbul
Air Arabia Egypt is set to launch direct flights between Cairo and Istanbul starting April 2, 2024.
This new route will make traveling between Cairo International Airport and Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen International Airport easier by offering three flights per week. The initiative aims to provide travelers with an affordable and convenient way to discover the magical city of Istanbul, reports Travel And Tour World.
Flight E5 987 will depart from Cairo at 11:10 a.m. and arrive in Istanbul at 14:25 p.m. every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The return flight E5 988 will depart from Istanbul at 15:20 and land in Cairo at 16:30 on the same days.
Both flights will be operated by Airbus A320 aircraft.
Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, said: "We are delighted to introduce our new direct flights from Cairo to Istanbul, marking another important milestone for Air Arabia Egypt. This expansion is in line with our commitment to providing our passengers with convenient travel options."
"Operating three flights a week between Cairo International Airport and Sabiha Gokcen International Airport will not only strengthen connectivity but also meet the growing demand for travel between the two cities," added Al Ali.
With the introduction of the Istanbul routes, Air Arabia Egypt will now serve a total of 16 cities from its hubs in Cairo and Alexandria. This expansion includes routes to Sharjah, Bergamo, Muscat, Bahrain, Dammam, Gassim, Amman, Jeddah, Riyadh, Tabuk, Taif, Aljuf, Khail, Abha, and Jizan, expanding its network to meet the diverse needs of its customers.
