IHG Hotels and Resorts has opened its first Crowne Plaza hotel in Kuala Lumpur in partnership with Yuk Tung Properties. The newly constructed 320-room Crowne Plaza Kuala Lumpur City Centre is located on Jalan Yap Kwan Seng.
The Crowne Plaza Hotels and Resorts group has more than 400 hotels in major cities and resorts in 65 countries. The new hotel was designed by the well-known international interior design and architecture firm GA Group, headed by Adrian Currie. It was reported by thestar.com.
Its design embodies the bustling energy of the city and the tranquility of the Malaysian rainforest.
Each element creates a feeling of immersion in a symphony of nature and elegance.
The contemporary rooms and suites, ranging from 387.5 to 1571 square feet, offer a versatile design with clear zones between work and leisure.
The RhymBa Lobby Lounge and Bar enhances the traditional lounge by combining coworking functionality with relaxation, offering solo pods and spaces for socializing, quick meetings or focused individual work.
Nest@13 on the 13th level is a special coworking room designed exclusively for work. It is equipped with modern amenities, ample workspace and a private meeting room.
Merchants All-Day Dining invites guests to a global culinary journey in a bright and stylish setting. The restaurant's interior, which includes communal tables, open kitchens and décor, creates a bustling marketplace atmosphere in which one can enjoy a meal.
The hotel offers 12,000 square feet of space for meetings and events, including a grand ballroom.
Guests can relax in the infinity rooftop pool, which offers breathtaking views of the city skyline. In addition, the hotel has signature suites, an executive lounge and the French beer bar Le Midi.
