A crew member of the cruise liner told about the passengers they laugh at
Lucy Sutherton, a 28-year-old cruise ship worker from Birmingham, has revealed which passengers crew members find amusing. People who feel too comfortable on the ship are sometimes the subject of jokes.
Having worked on the ship since the age of 19, Lucy shared her observations, particularly about the type of passengers who like to walk barefoot. According to the Express, such tourists amuse the staff greatly.
"Crew members usually laugh at passengers who think it's normal to walk barefoot on a cruise ship," the cruise expert said.
According to her, every cruise is not complete without such travelers who prefer to walk around the deck, shops, and even in the theater without shoes.
Lucy, who runs the Instagram blog @cruisingascrew, advises passengers to always wear shoes when leaving their cabin.
"And if you want to walk around the cruise ship without shoes, just know that the crew will laugh at you," she adds.
By the way, it is not advised to walk barefoot not only on board the ship but also in the airplane cabin. Usually, neither air nor sea transportation can be cleaned well enough to walk on without shoes.
As TravelWise previously reported, it can be harder to prepare for a cruise trip than for an airplane flight or a car trip. However, some tips can make life easier for passengers.
