33% of divorces after the first vacation together: research results
It's commonly believed that traveling together to popular romantic destinations can bring partners closer together and create new shared memories. However, having a loved one by your side and breathtaking views do not guarantee a positive experience.
According to a recent study, 81% of Americans believe that couples travel is a great way to try new things and get closer to each other, but 33% said they broke up during a vacation because of their partner's travel habits. In addition, 88% of respondents who traveled with their partner said they no longer want to go on joint trips, 24tv.ua reports.
The main reasons for quarrels among lovers and methods of overcoming the conflict:
Minibar. A partner who restricts the use of a minibar because it is expensive can be annoying. Therefore, in order to avoid conflicts over this issue, it is better to choose an all-inclusive hotel.
Mess. Things scattered randomly around the room, dirt and garbage can be annoying and interfere with the effective use of common space. That's why you should pay attention to hotels that offer daily housekeeping.
Unpacking your belongings. Not everyone likes to hang up their clothes and put things away in the room right away. In this case, you can entrust this work to the hotel staff.
More than necessary. Some people are annoyed by people who take too many of their favorite things with them, such as a pillow or bedding. If you are not traveling by car and want to save space, take advantage of special offers from the hotel that can solve this problem.
Responsibility. As a rule, when traveling, one person is the organizer on whom the trip rests, and the other just enjoys the vacation. If you don't want to be responsible for keeping track of your room key, choose hotels that offer digital keys in a special app.
