Ryanair has marked ten years of operations at Belfast International Airport with a limited-time seat sale for trips on its current network. The airline says more than seven million people have used its Belfast services since flights began in 2016. The offer is available through the Ryanair app and accompanies the carrier’s full Summer 2026 schedule.

Belfast Sale and Summer Schedule

  • Airline: Ryanair
  • Airport: Belfast International Airport
  • Sale fare: From £29.99
  • Routes this summer: 15
  • Weekly flights: 166
  • Limited-time offer: Flights from £29.99, available only through the Ryanair app
  • Beach destinations: Alicante, Lanzarote and Malta
  • City-break options: Kraków, Milan and Porto
  • Availability: Limited-time offer on selected flights across the summer schedule
  • Reason for the sale: Ryanair is marking more than seven million passengers at Belfast International since 2016
“Ryanair is a hugely valued partner for Belfast International Airport, delivering over 1000 jobs locally and $200m for the local economy, as well as offering choice and connectivity for the people of Northern Ireland and beyond. Ryanair is to be congratulated on serving over 7 million passengers for Northern Ireland since 2016."
Dan Owens, CEO at Belfast International Airport

The wider Belfast operation also gives local travellers a broader choice of direct departures without routing through Dublin or another UK airport. Ryanair keeps two aircraft based at Belfast International, helping support the current 166-flight weekly schedule, while the airport is carrying out a £100 million upgrade. The work is intended to improve the terminal experience as passenger numbers and route demand continue to grow.

The current network covers both beach holidays and city breaks. Alicante, Lanzarote and Malta suit travellers looking for sun, while Kraków, Milan and Porto offer culture, food and short weekend itineraries. The mix also gives passengers more flexibility when comparing trip length, departure dates and destination type, rather than limiting the summer schedule to one kind of holiday.

The sale is most useful for people who already know when and where they can travel. The advertised fare is only the starting price, so baggage, seat selection and airport transport can change the final cost quickly. Anyone considering a late booking should compare the complete return price and check the flight times before paying, rather than choosing a destination simply because the headline fare looks low.
