Big Bank Holiday Event at Wythenshawe Park: Travel and Transportation Details

Manchester's Wythenshawe Park is set to host a major event on Sunday, 25th August 2024. The Big Bank Holiday day out will feature a performance by the popular band Blossoms, along with special guests Inhaler, Shed Seven, The K`s, Seb Lowe, and TTRRUUCES.

With tickets selling rapidly, preparations are underway to ensure smooth travel for attendees. The event organizers have partnered with Andy Burnham’s Bee Network to provide convenient bus services.

Buses will run from Stockport Interchange to Wythenshawe Park every six minutes between 4 pm and 8 pm on the day of the concert. After the event, return buses will operate from Wythenshawe Park Moor Road back to Stockport Interchange every six minutes from 10 pm until 1 am. The 20-minute journey costs £3 for a single trip and £6 for a return ticket, payable upon boarding.

These transport arrangements aim to facilitate hassle-free travel for concert-goers, enhancing their overall experience. The event is expected to draw a large crowd, and the efficient bus services will help manage the flow of attendees to and from the park.

Fans are encouraged to plan their travel in advance and take advantage of the dedicated bus services. With the Bee Network's frequent and affordable transportation options, reaching the event will be straightforward and stress-free.
