Viking is launching three exclusive cruises in China
Viking has unveiled three unprecedented itineraries designed specifically to give guests privileged access to China in 2024.
These new voyages will last from 10 to 20 days, passing through iconic cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong. Each itinerary includes an inland voyage along China's coastline, showcasing rarely explored destinations and ports accessible only to Viking, a unique offering for foreign visitors, as reported by Travel And Tour World.
The voyages will take place from September to November on Viking Yi Dun, formerly known as Viking Sun, a sister ship that retains the same award-winning design and service as the entire Viking ocean fleet. Proudly flying the Chinese flag, Viking Yi Dun will be the first ship designed exclusively for the overseas market to sail domestically in China.
Thorstein Hagen, Chairman of Viking, expressed pride in pioneering domestic sailings for international travelers in China, emphasizing the company's commitment to cater to travelers interested in unforgettable experiences.
The 20-day cruise itinerary is a comprehensive exploration of China's top attractions, including meeting a Tibetan family, walking the Great Wall, and visiting the Terracotta Warriors. Other highlights include the picturesque Dongtou coastline, the UNESCO World Heritage Site Gulangyu Island in Xiamen, and the UNESCO City of Design Shenzhen.
