Turkish Airlines plans to make a "revolutionary" change in its brand
Turkish Airlines is planning to create its own color from its logo for Pantone. The company believes that the branded color, known as "Turkish Airlines Red," will be "an important milestone in the evolution of the brand."
To realize this goal, the airline is working with the Pantone Color Institute, a company that researches color trends and works with brands that want to strengthen their association with them, in particular through color. This was reported by TheStreet.
Turkish Airlines' Vice President of Communications Rafet Fatih Ozgur emphasized the importance of such a step by the company. He said: "This vibrant color emphasizes our visual identity and marks the expansion of our global presence with the addition of Australia to our route network."
It is noted that although this color is not different from the one the company has used before, it is a way to increase brand uniqueness and strengthen its recognition among customers as "their" color. Laurie Pressman, vice president of the Pantone Color Institute, said that a number of other airlines use colors that, although not officially trademarked, are commonly associated with airlines. In particular, we are talking about Qantas and Emirates Airlines.
"A bold red hue whose bold attitude and pioneering spirit promises the excitement of new experiences and the thrill of new adventures, Turkish Airlines Red awakens our passion to embark on a journey to the unknown," said Lori Pressman.
Earlier, TravelWise reported that Turkish Airlines announced the creation of the company's TK Wallet application.
