Transavia to launch a direct flight from Paris to a resort country in Southeast Europe in 2024
Residents of Bulgaria who were planning a trip to France can start packing their bags. On April 12, 2024, Varna Airport is preparing to launch regular flights to Paris.
For now, the route is expected to operate seasonally, with the last flight scheduled for September 27. According to Novinite, the final destination will be Orly Airport, located 14 km south of Paris.
Tickets for this flight, which has been eagerly awaited by lovers of romantic atmosphere, croissants, and works of art, are already available.
According to the publication, you can fly from Bulgaria to Orly at an attractive initial price of 69 euros during April. The flight will be operated by Transavia.
The carrier has not returned to direct flights from Varna to Paris since 2017. The new route is expected to increase the accessibility and attractiveness of Varna Airport as an important tourist hub.
As Bulgaria is becoming an increasingly popular summer destination, the expansion of the connection could have a positive impact on the development of tourism in the country and the carrier's revenues.
