Tourist attacks two vacationers on a Thai beach: His visa may be revoked
An unpleasant incident occurred on a Thai beach. According to the victims, Urs Fehr, an entrepreneur and a Swiss citizen, allegedly attacked two tourists who were vacationing on the area he had rented for his leisure time.
Tandao Chandam, 26, a medical worker at Dibuk Hospital, reported the attack after Urs allegedly kicked him and his girlfriend in the back as they sat stargazing on the beach in front of the villa rented by the businessman, the Bangkok Post reported.
He claimed that the couple had trespassed on his property. However, further investigation revealed that the stairs were built on state land. Mr. Fehr was then given 30 days to remove them. If he failed to comply, the local authorities would dismantle them and charge him for the cost of the work. Although Mr. Fehr has not been charged with assault, the incident has led to calls for a thorough investigation of his property.
The victims are also demanding that public access to the beach where the attack took place be restored.
