"They have better floors than my house": Londoners are impressed with new buses in the city
An updated fleet of London buses has been put into operation. The new Transport for London (TfL) buses have started operating on route 307, which runs from Brimsdown station in Enfield to Barnet Hospital, passing through Enfield Chase on the way.
The video posted on TikTok, which has garnered nearly 40,000 likes, begins with the man saying: "Excuse me, why is this bus so beautiful? In the comments, people were vigorously discussing how beautiful the bus was, with Londoners waxing lyrical about the vinyl wood-effect flooring. One TikTok user said: "The floor here is better than in my own house, the rent is getting a bit high, maybe I'll move here," Mylondon writes.
Another added: "If the buses looked like this, I would pay the fare." Others pointed out that the buses have been on the road for a long time, and some said that there are other areas of London with updated buses.
One commenter said: "In South London they even have leather seats." And another suggested that it was more like traveling first class, which could cost more, saying, "Imagine if they start charging for the upper seats."
This bus is one of many new zero-emission buses operating on the streets of London. More than 1,000 of these buses run on various routes in the capital and are built by different manufacturers.
