The Pakistani low-cost carrier Fly Jinnah has launched its first international flight
Fly Jinnah, a Pakistani low-cost airline, has launched its first international flight between Islamabad and Sharjah.
The inaugural flight was attended by Fly Jinnah's senior management, along with a group of travel agents, media representatives, and social media influencers, according to a press release.
The opening ceremony at Sharjah International Airport began with a traditional water cannon salute, followed by a welcome ceremony attended by Pakistan's Ambassador to the UAE, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, along with senior management representing Sharjah International Airport and Air Arabia.
With its modern fleet of five Airbus A320 aircraft, the airline currently serves five major cities in Pakistan, namely Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta, in addition to the recently launched international route to Sharjah in the UAE.
The aircraft are also equipped with SkyTime, a complimentary in-flight streaming service that allows passengers to stream a wide range of entertainment directly to their devices.
As TravelWise wrote, Pakistan, located in South Asia, has witnessed a sharp increase in revenues from various travel services. Compared to the same period last year, Pakistan experienced a 27% increase.
