Jet2 is recognized as the best airline in the UK: what other companies are in the top
Jet2 has been named the best airline in the UK by Which? It has won the favor of travelers thanks to its clean cabins, affordable prices, and quality service.
Experts evaluated airlines based on 7 criteria: seat comfort, cabin cleanliness, boarding service, cabin atmosphere, food and drink, customer service, and value for money. The Scottish Sun writes about it.
Jet2 topped the ranking among airlines operating short- and medium-haul flights, gaining 81% of the points according to customers. The airline received five stars for customer service, four stars for cabin cleanliness, boarding, and value for money.
Jet2 offers affordable airfares starting at £30 to 65 destinations. Its on-time performance is 68% and its last-minute cancellation rate is only 0.5%.
One passenger enthusiastically shared his experience of flying with Jet2: "I have always found the Jet2 staff, both on the phone and in person, to be exceptional. They set the standard by which I evaluate all other companies."
Icelandair took the second place (74%), and Norwegian (74%) was third. At the bottom of the ranking was Wizz Air with 44% customer satisfaction.
Among the long-haul airlines, Singapore Airlines was the winner (83%), followed by Emirates (81%) and Virgin Atlantic (76%). Lufthansa (56%) and Air Canada (58%) received the lowest scores.
As previously reported by TravelWise, Jet2 passengers complained that their flight was delayed twice, forcing them to stay in a hotel near "drunken revelers."
