Jet2 has warned passengers of possible flight disruptions due to severe weather
British low-cost airline Jet2 has warned passengers traveling to and from the UK that their flights might face delays. Due to adverse weather conditions, certain aircraft may not safely operate within the country's airspace.
Passengers have been advised to regularly check the airline's website for updates, at least until the end of this week. According to the Express, another low-cost carrier, Ryanair, has also issued a warning for passengers with travel plans.
A spokesperson for Jet2 stated, "We will always board our flights on time, meaning we will be able to depart as soon as we are cleared to take off. During adverse weather conditions, this may result in longer than usual wait times on board, and we apologize in advance if this happens."
As snowfall has occurred in various regions of the UK this week, accompanied by dropping temperatures, it has caused disruptions in transportation.
Passengers are not only advised to check their flight status but also to allocate extra time to reach the airport in case of snowy or icy conditions.
