Japan intends to build a new generation passenger aircraft by 2035
Japan is working on a project to create a unique passenger airplane. For this purpose, the country's government and private companies are ready to allocate about $33 billion.
It is expected that the ambitious project can be completed by 2035. This was reported by iXBT.media.
It is noted that the country has previously tried to implement a similar idea as part of the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries project. However, the plan failed. Taking into account past mistakes, it was decided to involve several other companies and industrial corporations that manufacture the necessary parts and components in the project.
It is reported that the new aircraft should be equipped with new efficient engines that are more promising and environmentally friendly. It is reported that companies with experience in working with hydrogen engines may be involved.
Earlier TravelWise reported that Japan has ordered the country's first mega-yacht.
