In Belfast Zoo, a video of a gorilla playing with snow was shared
Following heavy rainfall and snowfall that covered parts of Northern Ireland, Belfast Zoo had to close its doors to visitors on September 16 until weather conditions improved. During this time, a local gorilla named Gugas took advantage of the opportunity to play with the snow and make snowballs.
The primate was extremely focused on exploring his enclosure, which was covered with snow, while a zoo employee filmed him on his phone. Eventually, the zoo posted the video of the playful gorilla carefully making snowballs on its Facebook page, as reported by the Daily Mail.
The footage of the focused gorilla impressed not only zoo staff but also the zoo's followers and other users on the network. On Facebook, the video has garnered more than 2.9 thousand likes and over 900 comments.
The primate has gained unexpected fame as a silver gorilla who knows how to play snowballs, attracting the attention of people who are looking forward to the zoo's reopening to see Gugas with their own eyes.
