IHG Hotels & Resorts Partners with EnviroSpark to Expand Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure

In a bid to meet the escalating demand for electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, IHG Hotels & Resorts has entered into a strategic agreement with EnviroSpark, a renowned industry player specializing in the design, installation, and operation of EV charging solutions. This collaboration aims to deploy electric vehicle chargers (EVCs) at all IHG-branded hotels across the United States and Canada, aligning with IHG's commitment to accelerate the adoption of sustainable practices.

The agreement empowers IHG hotels to collaborate with EnviroSpark to tailor EVC solutions based on their specific needs and preferences. By integrating EVCs into its portfolio, IHG seeks to enhance the travel experience for sustainability-minded guests while contributing to the transition towards a low-carbon economy.

As the adoption of electric vehicles continues to surge globally, with projections indicating that EVs will comprise half of new car sales by 2035, IHG recognizes the importance of catering to the evolving needs of environmentally conscious travelers.
