Mabrian, a leading tourism intelligence company, has recently published a report unveiling the top 10 countries with the best international air connectivity during the first half of 2024. This data sheds light on the outbound travel potential of these nations, positioning them as key targets in the global travel landscape.
The analysis conducted by Mabrian, based on airline flight schedules, indicates a significant evolution in the connectivity landscape compared to the same period in 2023. The report covers travel dates from January 1 to June 30, 2024.
One notable trend highlighted in the report is the substantial progress in connectivity between Europe and China. Specifically, European countries such as Spain, France, Italy, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands have experienced a remarkable increase in connectivity. This increase is fueled by recent measures announced by the Chinese Foreign Ministry to encourage European tourism. Citizens of Spain and four other European Union countries are now allowed to enter China without a visa for stays of up to 15 days, leading to a surge in airline seats offered between these regions.
