Eurostar launches fast £35 route from London to Amsterdam
Eurostar is launching a high-speed route from London to Amsterdam with fares starting from £35. Starting April 4, the journey will take three hours and 41 minutes. The trip from the British capital will be direct. The return trip will include a stop in Brussels to check passports. This will change when the governments of the UK and the Netherlands reach an agreement to conduct document checks in the Netherlands.
Eurostar will operate two flights a day from St. Pancras International Airport. The one-way fare starts from 35 pounds sterling. On weekends, the train will run at 8:31 on Saturday and 17:31 on Sunday. This information was published by joe.co.
The railroad company also reports that the new service will reduce travel time between London and Brussels by 17 minutes to one hour and 48 minutes, and then continue to Rotterdam.
"The launch of the London-Amsterdam service marks a historic milestone in the expansion of international high-speed rail services, revolutionizing connections between these important destinations," the company said.
It is reported that more than four million passengers travel between London and Amsterdam every year. It is noted that the travel market between London and Paris has more than doubled.
