Emirates Enhances Southeast Asian Connectivity with Daily Phnom Penh Service via Singapore
Emirates is set to enhance its Southeast Asian network by resuming daily services to Phnom Penh through Singapore starting from May 1. This strategic move not only bolsters the airline's connectivity from Dubai but also bridges two pivotal trade and leisure hubs within the region, promising a significant boost for both business and tourism.
The reintroduction of the Phnom Penh route underscores Emirates’ commitment to expanding its network in Southeast Asia. Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, expressed gratitude towards the Cambodian and Singaporean authorities for their collaboration in establishing the route. He emphasized the airline's focus on facilitating greater opportunities for exploration of diverse destinations and fostering stronger trade connections.
Scheduled for operation with the three-class Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, the service aims to provide a seamless travel experience. Flight EK348 will depart Dubai at 02:30 hrs, arriving in Singapore at 14:05 hrs, before proceeding to Phnom Penh, reaching at 16:35 hrs. The return flight, EK349, will journey back from Phnom Penh to Dubai via Singapore, offering convenient timings for travelers connecting to and from various cities across France, the UK, Germany, Switzerland, and the United States.
Starting May 1, Emirates will enhance its Singapore service to four daily flights, reflecting the airline's commitment to offering more flexible travel options. Furthermore, Emirates SkyCargo is set to offer significant cargo capacity, facilitating the transport of textiles, pharmaceuticals, and other high-value commodities in and out of Phnom Penh, thus contributing to the region's economic growth.
Passengers on the new service will enjoy Emirates' renowned in-flight experience, including 8 First Class private suites, 42 lie-flat seats in Business Class, and 310 spacious seats in Economy Class. The airline's award-winning service features regionally-inspired dishes, complimentary beverages, and the ice inflight entertainment system.
