Emirates Boosts Australian Flight Services with A380 and Boeing 777
Emirates, a global leader in aviation, is set to enhance its Australian routes with major upgrades, introducing an A380 on its second daily Dubai-Brisbane flight and launching an additional daily Dubai-Perth service with a Boeing 777-300ER.
Starting October 1, Emirates' A380 will service the EK430 flight, departing Dubai at 02:30 hrs and arriving in Brisbane at 22:20 hrs. The return flight, EK431, will leave Brisbane at 01:55 hrs, landing in Dubai at 10:05 hrs. From December 1, the new Perth service, flight EK424, will depart Dubai at 09:15 hrs and arrive the next day at 00:05 hrs, with the return flight EK425 leaving Perth at 06:00 hrs and reaching Dubai at 13:10 hrs.
Barry Brown, Divisional Vice President Australasia at Emirates, emphasized the airline's commitment to offering more choices and convenient schedules for Australians traveling through Dubai. Gert-Jan de Graaff, CEO of Brisbane Airport, highlighted the A380's role in increasing passenger capacity to Europe, Brisbane's second busiest international destination. He also praised Emirates for minimizing local noise impacts.
John Carey, Western Australian Government Acting Tourism Minister, and Scott Woodward, COO of Perth Airport, both welcomed the news, acknowledging the positive impact on tourism and the aviation sector in Western Australia.
This expansion increases Emirates' weekly capacity to Australia by an additional 6,900 seats, catering to the growing demand for international travel. The added flights also promise to bolster trade and business opportunities in the region.
Emirates currently operates 63 weekly flights to major Australian cities, including Brisbane, Perth, Sydney, and Melbourne. The airline is known for its high-quality service, offering an unmatched in-flight experience with diverse entertainment options and regional culinary delights. This enhancement to their Australian routes reflects Emirates' ongoing commitment to providing exceptional travel experiences and fostering global connectivity.
