Delta Expands Leisure Travel Options with New Routes to Hawaii and Miami
Delta Air Lines is set to enhance its leisure travel offerings with the introduction of new services from Boston to Honolulu and from Seattle to Miami in the upcoming winter season. This expansion not only solidifies Delta's prominence in Boston but also offers Miami customers unparalleled access to all nine of Delta's U.S. hubs, marking a significant boost in the airline's domestic network.
Over the last decade, Delta has meticulously refined its domestic network to cater to the evolving demands of travelers. According to Joe Esposito, Delta’s Senior Vice President of Network Planning, the focus has been on strengthening the airline's presence in strategic U.S. hubs like Boston, Atlanta, and Seattle. The aim is to offer more choices and seamless connections to highly sought-after destinations, enhancing the travel experience for customers across the board.
Delta's commitment to providing extensive connectivity to Hawaii is evident in its offering of 22 daily nonstop flights next winter. This includes a new daily, seasonal nonstop service between Boston and Honolulu, commencing on November 21 and continuing through April 30. Additionally, Delta customers from Boston already have access to multiple destinations in Florida and in Mexico and the Caribbean as part of the airline's existing winter schedule.
The airline is also increasing its flights to Hawaii from Salt Lake City and Seattle, with additional daily, seasonal frequencies to Honolulu. Notably, Delta will resume its exclusive service from Atlanta to Maui, becoming the only carrier to connect Maui with the Eastern U.S. during the winter season.
The new service between Miami and Seattle, starting December 21, will see Delta operating 38 peak-day departures to 13 destinations from Miami, further enhancing its network. This new route complements Delta's growing operations in Seattle, including new services to Taipei and Dallas-Fort Worth starting this summer.
Travelers flying on these routes can expect the highest level of comfort onboard Delta's mainline aircraft, including the Boeing 767-300ER and Airbus A321neo. The airline is dedicated to providing an exceptional in-flight experience, featuring an extensive food and beverage program, specially curated menu options in Delta One and First Class, and a selection of premium snacks and beverages. Moreover, all passengers can enjoy a wide range of in-flight entertainment options through Delta Studio, ensuring a pleasant journey across the U.S.
