Cathay Pacific Unveils New Premium Economy and Exclusive Culinary Offerings
Cathay Pacific has introduced a series of enhancements to elevate the in-flight experience, highlighted by the launch of a new Premium Economy cabin and exclusive dining and wine selections. This unveiling occurred at a recent Customer Experience Showcase in Hong Kong’s West Kowloon Cultural District.
The airline's new Premium Economy, featured on retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, offers increased comfort and privacy with features like advanced seating, a 15.6-inch 4K screen, and privacy-enhancing design elements. Complementing the comfort upgrades, Cathay Pacific has introduced touch-free lavatories and mood lighting across all cabins, emphasizing health and luxury.
In addition to seating improvements, Cathay Pacific is enhancing its beverage offerings with an exclusive selection of fine Chinese wines. This selection includes premium vintages from renowned estates like Domaines Barons de Rothschild Lafite and other leading Chinese winemakers, available to First and Business class passengers on long-haul flights until May 2024.
Cathay Pacific’s culinary efforts feature new partnerships with acclaimed Hong Kong restaurants, bringing passengers a taste of local cuisine through refreshed menu offerings. These collaborations are part of the airline’s broader commitment to promote Hong Kong’s culinary heritage on an international stage.
