Cathay Elevates Global Travel with Cathay Dining Rebrand
Cathay Pacific has officially rebranded its catering subsidiary to Cathay Dining, marking a significant leap in its commitment to enhancing the travel and dining experience for passengers worldwide. This strategic move, announced today, represents a continuation of nearly six decades of dedicated service in high-quality inflight and external catering solutions.
The transformation from the former Cathay Pacific Catering Services (CPCS) to Cathay Dining aligns with the airline's ambition to establish itself among the top service brands globally. This rebranding not only reflects Cathay's dedication to excellence but also its endeavor to offer unique dining experiences both onboard and beyond.
Alex McGowan, Chief Operations and Service Delivery Officer and Chair of Cathay Dining, emphasized the substantial investments made to evolve the brand into a premier global dining provider. "The new Cathay Dining brand encapsulates our commitment to quality and our role in enhancing Cathay's service excellence," he stated.
Cathay Dining has broadened its scope, catering not only to Cathay Pacific flights but also serving other leading airlines and various business sectors. As Hong Kong's principal aviation catering company, Cathay Dining produced over 19 million meals last year, demonstrating its extensive operational capacity and dedication to culinary excellence.
