Attention! Camera! Action! The team of the "White Lotus" series has arrived at the filming location for the new season
This week, filming for the third season of the popular TV series "The White Lotus" officially began. The cast of the show has already arrived in Thailand, where the highly anticipated continuation of the story will be filmed.
It is known that the previous two seasons were filmed at hotels owned by the Canadian company Four Seasons Hotels, Inc. Therefore, it is likely that one of the Four Seasons Resorts will serve as the set for Season 3, as reported by The Independent.
It is noted that the final filming location was initially unknown. However, the Tourism Authority of Thailand was the first to announce the official shooting locations for the series. The agency stated that filming would commence in February in prominent locations, including Bangkok, Phuket, and Koh Samui.
Later, the official Instagram page of the series confirmed this information and announced that production would begin on Wednesday, February 14th.
"We are thrilled to be working with the Tourism Authority of Thailand to bring Mike's creative vision to life and showcase all that the beautiful country of Thailand has to offer as the next group of guests check into the White Lotus," said Janet Graham Borba, Executive Vice President of Production, HBO & Max.
It is assumed that the series will be filmed at the luxury Four Seasons Resort, which has hotels in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Koh Samui, and the Golden Triangle. However, given the information about room reservations being blocked in Samui from February to March, it is likely that the main filming will take place there. Similar booking obstacles are also recorded in Phuket from April to May, which is not the peak tourist season in the region.
