Airbus Bolsters Cybersecurity Capabilities with INFODAS Acquisition

Airbus Defence and Space is set to expand its cybersecurity portfolio through the strategic acquisition of INFODAS, a German company specializing in cybersecurity and IT solutions, primarily catering to the public sector, defense, and critical infrastructures. This pivotal move, expected to close by the end of 2024, pending regulatory approvals, underscores Airbus' commitment to bolstering its defenses against the growing cyber threats in the digital age.

Located in Cologne, INFODAS has established itself as a trusted provider in the cybersecurity realm, boasting approximately 250 employees and generating annual revenues of around 50 million euros. The company's presence extends across Germany, with offices in Berlin, Bonn, Hamburg, Munich, and Mainz. It has earned recognition from the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) in Germany, certifying its prowess in IT security services, including information system auditing, consulting, and penetration tests.
