A traveller has visited 82 provinces of the Philippines over the past 10 years
Ric Clara, a resident of the Philippines, has visited all 82 provinces in the country. It took the 35-year-old man 10 years of his life to achieve his goal.
INQUIRER.net reported that Ric Clara started this project in 2011. The man shared his achievement with subscribers in the DIY Travel Philippines group on Facebook.
"After I reached my goal, I felt very satisfied and proud to say that I live in a beautiful country that is waiting to be discovered by others," Clara said.
It is noted that the last, 82nd, place that Ric discovered for himself was the province of Sulu. In addition, he noted that his favourite sights are not popular among tourists and encouraged travellers to discover them while exploring the Philippines.
In addition, he named his favourite places, namely: Siargao, Balabac in Palawan, the Dinagat Islands in the Caraga region, Sulu and the beaches of Basilan.
Currently, the traveller has started a new tourist ASEAN Project, within which he has to visit all 10 countries of Southeast Asia. He has already visited 8 countries, including China and Taiwan.
