A new night train has been launched in Europe that travels across four capitals in 15 hours
Europe has launched a new night train that covers four countries in just 15 hours. The train made its maiden voyage on March 25.
Thus, European Sleeper has launched its new night train on the Brussels-Prague route. Departing from Brussels at 19:22, the 15-hour journey ended in Prague at 10:56 the next morning, The Sun reports.
The route includes 8 additional stops, including Antwerp, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Dresden. Thus, the train will connect 4 European capitals – Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, and the Czech Republic.
Elmer Van Buren, co-founder of European Sleeper, says that trains are a good alternative to flying or driving. Trains are convenient because they depart from city centers, unlike suburban airports. The company plans to add a new route every year to develop the European transportation network.
As for prices, the cost of tickets for this route will start at 129 euros, and a bed in a three-seater compartment will cost 219 euros.
As TravelWise reported, Ukraine has been included in the Mediterranean Rail Corridor.
