A cruise expert revealed one thing that should always be checked during booking
Cruises can offer great value for money as they include travel, accommodation, entertainment, food, and drinks.
However, one insider warned that you should double-check exactly what's included before parting with your cash, as booking add-ons early can help you save money, as reported by the Mirror.
While most cruises include a food and beverage package, this may be limited to certain selections. Often, this will not include alcohol or will have limited options, such as beer and wine. If you're hoping for cocktails or premium brands, you'll have to pay extra - and that's where pre-booking can make a big difference.
Grace Sandwith, Commercial Director at Iglu Cruise, explained: "If possible, it's usually cheaper to book a beverage package when you book your vacation. You'll get the best price, and you'll be sure you know the cost. It's worth noting that there are a very small number of cruise lines where you can only purchase beverage packages online."
