Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer VinFast has entered into a cooperation agreement with Bosch, enabling VinFast customers in Europe to access Bosch's extensive network of 700,000 charging points across 30 countries. This partnership aims to provide seamless and convenient travel for VinFast drivers across the continent.

Building on their existing collaboration in North America, VinFast and Bosch are extending their partnership to Europe. This move will ensure VinFast customers can easily locate, charge, and pay at compatible charging stations using the VinFast smartphone app or the vehicle's integrated infotainment system.

This agreement guarantees transparency over charging sessions and history, allowing customers to effectively manage their charging costs. Additionally, VinFast customers will benefit from Bosch's continuous innovations in charging technology, staying at the forefront of advancements and receiving a wide variety of charging options as they become available.

The partnership also enhances customer support, providing comprehensive assistance from both VinFast and Bosch for any charging-related issues. This collaboration aligns with VinFast's commitment to prioritize customer needs and ensure a smooth transition to electric mobility.

Bosch has significantly expanded its global network of charging points, increasing it sixfold since 2020. By the end of 2024, Bosch anticipates having a total of 850,000 charging ports in Europe, further accommodating the growing number of VinFast customers in the region and supporting their global expansion efforts.

VinFast is rapidly expanding beyond established markets in the U.S., Canada, and Europe, with plans to enter emerging markets in Asia, including India, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines, as well as regions in the Middle East and Africa.
