Tourists Traumatised After Witnessing Fatal Safari Accident in Turkey

Two British tourists were left traumatised after witnessing the tragic death of a Romanian tourist during a mountain safari in Alanya, Turkey. The accident occurred when one of the safari vehicles overturned and fell into a ravine, resulting in the immediate death of the Romanian tourist, who was on holiday with his family.

The British tourists, on a package holiday, booked the safari through their hotel and reported that approximately 30 people were part of the tour, divided among three jeeps. The situation turned tragic when one of the vehicles overturned, and despite immediate attempts to assist, the tourist succumbed to his injuries.

The incident has raised concerns about the safety measures provided by the tour company, Mac-Sef Tours, which has not responded to inquiries. The tourists, deeply affected by the experience, reported a lack of support following the accident. They emphasized the need for increased awareness about the risks associated with such excursions.

Love Holidays, the package holiday provider through which the tourists booked their hotel, expressed condolences over the tragic event. However, they clarified that the safari operators were a third-party company and not affiliated with their services. The Turkish Interior Ministry confirmed the death and stated that an investigation is ongoing to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
