Water sports center: France

The Aquatics Center, built for the 2024 Paris Olympics, took a new approach to construction and sustainability, prioritizing sustainability through mass timber construction and repurposing existing structures.

It seats 6,000 spectators and has a curved roof design for energy efficiency, reducing the volume and consumption of heating.

The venue will also be transformed into a Paralympic boccia stadium after the aquatics events.

Simon-Veil Bridge, France

The construction of the Simone Veil Bridge by OMA in Bordeaux is underway with an initial metal frame on the right bank of the Garonne River.

The 44-meter bridge is designed for cars, bicycles and other public transport, while a large surface is dedicated to pedestrians in Bordeaux.

Different sections of the bridge can be closed at any time and turned into a temporary event space.

Motorcycle Amphitheatre, USA

Heatherwick Studio, with the support of The Harley-Davidson Foundation, developed a park near the Harley-Davidson headquarters in Milwaukee that contains a motorcycle amphitheater for 700 motorcycles during the rally.

Surrounded by greenery, the 83-meter sunken event space includes tiered seating, motorcycle access lanes, and 360-degree viewing platforms.

Built from 10 local brick types and weather-resistant steel, it blends perfectly with 20 species of trees and 120 varieties of plants to create a dynamic environment.

Philharmonic concert hall: China

The Chinese Philharmonic Concert Hall in Beijing marks a key moment in the city's cultural scene.

As the permanent home of the esteemed China Philharmonic Orchestra, the 26,000-square-meter venue aims to become a global stage for musical excellence and a cultural link for international artistic exchange.

Emphasizing tranquility, it features a lotus pond and lush greenery, and the flowing facade diffuses daylight like a translucent curtain.
