Spark by Hilton to Debut in Europe in London

Hilton has announced the launch of its premium economy brand, Spark by Hilton, in Europe with the opening of Spark by Hilton London Romford. This marks the brand's first entry into the European market, with the new hotel set to welcome guests in the coming weeks.

The 125-room hotel in Romford is part of a franchise agreement with Romford South Ltd. This move follows the rapid expansion of the brand in the US, where Spark by Hilton launched in October 2023 and quickly grew to over 30 operating hotels.

The hotel will offer rooms with basic amenities such as streamlined furniture, open closets, and multifunctional work surfaces. Public spaces will provide comfortable areas for socializing or working. The daily breakfast will include coffee, juices, and bagels. Additional amenities will include a 24-hour retail market.

Located in the center of Romford, the hotel will provide easy access to numerous shops, restaurants, and the town’s historic open market. Proximity to Romford Station also ensures direct transport connections to central London and major airports.

Alissa Klees, the brand leader for Spark by Hilton, noted that bringing the brand to the European market aims to provide a consistent, reliable experience for premium economy travelers. Adi Hodzic, CEO of Romford South Ltd., emphasized the importance of the location and Hilton’s support in preparing for the hotel’s opening later this month.

The launch of Spark by Hilton in Europe marks a new phase in the development of the brand, aimed at meeting the growing demand for premium economy accommodations.
