Ryanair Adds 29 New Routes for Summer 2027
Ryanair has put its first 29 new routes for summer 2027 on sale, bringing more direct flights to regional airports across Britain and Europe. The additions cover destinations in Spain, Portugal, Greece, Italy and several other countries, giving holidaymakers new options without travelling through major international hubs. More routes are expected as the airline continues to release its summer programme, with several smaller UK airports gaining new connections.
New UK Routes for Summer 2027
- Birmingham: Wroclaw, Poland.
- Bournemouth: Porto, Portugal.
- East Midlands: Gdansk, Poland.
- Exeter: Porto, Portugal.
- Leeds Bradford: Bari, Budapest, Corfu and Tirana.
- Newcastle: Reus and Rhodes.
- Norwich: Malaga, Spain - Mondays and Thursdays.
- Season: Summer 2027.
- Bookings: Open now with Ryanair.
The airline expects to operate more than 2,500 routes serving 230 destinations next summer. Other additions include Palermo–Marrakech, Alicante–Tangier and Athens–Turin. While the 29 routes are already available to book, Ryanair has not published a complete timetable covering every service. Travellers can find individual departure dates, frequencies and ticket prices on the Ryanair website.
Several destinations offer convenient access to popular holiday regions. Reus is close to Salou and Tarragona on Spain's Costa Daurada, while Porto provides a gateway to northern Portugal and the Douro Valley. Bari is a useful arrival point for exploring Puglia, including Polignano a Mare and Alberobello. Malaga also gives Norwich passengers direct access to the Costa del Sol, including Torremolinos and Benalmadena.
The additional routes could save travellers from longer journeys to larger departure airports, although flight frequency will matter when planning shorter breaks. Return dates should be checked before booking accommodation, especially where services run only twice a week. Ryanair's basic fare includes one small underseat bag measuring 40 × 30 × 20 cm. Larger cabin bags, checked luggage and seat selection can increase the final ticket price.
