Revolut Plans Giant Copenhagen Airport Lounge
Revolut is moving into airport lounges, with its first branded space planned for Copenhagen Airport in 2027. The fintech company says the CPH Revolut Lounge will be the largest common-use lounge in the Schengen area and the starting point for a wider European network. The project takes Revolut beyond third-party lounge access and into a space it will develop under its own name.
What We Know About the Copenhagen Lounge
- Location: Copenhagen Airport (CPH)
- Opening: 2027; exact date not announced
- Name: CPH Revolut Lounge
- Size: Planned as the largest common-use lounge in the Schengen area
- Operator: Plaza Premium Group
- Access: Not yet announced
- Future plans: More Revolut lounges are planned across priority European markets, but no other airports have been confirmed
Plaza Premium Group will run the Copenhagen lounge, while Revolut will develop the concept under its own brand. Several practical details are still missing, including its exact opening date, size, facilities and capacity. Revolut has also yet to explain how entry will work. Some paid accounts already include airport lounge access, but the company has not confirmed whether those benefits will extend to the new Copenhagen space.
The new lounge will not change where passengers can fly, but it will add another option for people departing from or connecting through Copenhagen. As a common-use facility, it is intended to serve eligible travellers across different airlines rather than being tied to one carrier. That could make it relevant to a broad mix of Schengen passengers, although who can enter and whether paid access will be offered remain unconfirmed.
Copenhagen will effectively serve as the test case for Revolut’s wider lounge plans. If the concept expands as announced, travellers could eventually see branded Revolut spaces at other major European airports rather than relying solely on partner lounges. For now, though, Copenhagen is the only confirmed location, so anyone travelling elsewhere will continue using the existing lounge benefits attached to their plan rather than a dedicated Revolut facility.
