Qatar Airways Adds Hail to Network With New Saudi Route

Qatar Airways has launched a new non-stop service between Doha and Hail, expanding its presence in Saudi Arabia with its 13th destination in the Kingdom. The route is operated three times a week and marks the airline’s latest step in strengthening regional links across the Middle East. Flights began this week, connecting Hamad International Airport with Hail International Airport in north-central Saudi Arabia.

The new service operates on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, providing regular access between the two cities. Qatar Airways says the route supports travel demand beyond Saudi Arabia, offering onward connections via Doha to Africa, South Asia, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Passengers travelling on the route are also able to collect Avios through Qatar Airways’ Privilege Club when flying between Doha and Hail.

With the addition of Hail, Qatar Airways now operates more than 150 weekly flights to Saudi Arabia. The airline’s Saudi network includes destinations such as Riyadh, Jeddah, Medina, AlUla, NEOM and The Red Sea, reflecting sustained growth in services across the Kingdom. The expansion underlines the airline’s focus on maintaining frequent regional links alongside its wider long-haul network.

Hail Province offers visitors access to desert landscapes, historic trade routes and UNESCO-listed rock art sites that document thousands of years of human history. The region has gained attention as a cultural destination, combining outdoor experiences with local heritage.
