Singapore Airlines (SIA) and its low-cost subsidiary Scoot have announced the return of the Time To Fly travel fair, which will take place from 24 October to 6 November 2025. The event will include both online ticket sales and a three-day physical fair at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre. According to official information, more than 380,000 discounted tickets will be available for flights scheduled between late 2025 and 2026.

Discounted fares will apply to a wide range of destinations across both airlines’ networks, covering intercontinental and regional routes.

  • Singapore Airlines: more than 200,000 return seats to 77 cities worldwide, among them Frankfurt, San Francisco, Brisbane, Taipei, and Ho Chi Minh City.
  • Scoot: more than 180,000 one-way fares to 61 destinations, featuring new routes such as Tokyo Haneda, Vienna, Da Nang, Nha Trang, and Chiang Rai.

The sale will apply to flights departing from Singapore and will include both premium and economy cabins, with varying travel dates extending into 2026.

This large initiative highlights how airlines are fine-tuning capacity and flight timetables to align with evolving travel trends. It shows that carriers are monitoring passenger demand in different regions and adapting their route structures accordingly. Coordination between full-service operators and low-cost carriers points to a growing emphasis on efficiency and operational alignment in the aviation sector, particularly in markets that are still stabilizing after several years of restricted international travel.

The extended booking period allows more time for planning journeys across various destinations and travel seasons. The inclusion of both long-haul and short-haul routes demonstrates an effort to strengthen air links between Asia and Europe while restoring regional networks that were previously reduced. The reopening and growth of routes show how airlines are adjusting to meet both business and leisure travelers, reflecting the changing priorities in global travel.

The Time To Fly initiative signals a wider shift in global air travel, as airlines work to rebuild their networks and sustain consistent service quality instead of relying on limited-time promotional deals. This reflects how the aviation sector keeps adjusting to economic volatility, shifting fuel prices, and evolving traveler habits. For travelers, this change suggests a return to more reliable flight schedules and broader access to international routes.
