Radisson Hotel Group plans to launch several new properties across France in the next few years, expanding its portfolio to 34 hotels in operation and development. Included in the planned openings are Banke Opera Paris, which will reopen in 2026 in a restored Belle Époque building near the Opéra Garnier, and Radisson Blu at Charles de Gaulle Airport, expected to launch in late 2025. These additions underline the Group’s expansion in both cultural and transit hubs.

The Group’s expansion is focused on providing a variety of accommodations in both urban centers and coastal destinations. Further south, several new Radisson properties are planned across France:

  • Radisson Resort Cannes - opening in 2026 on the beachfront in Cannes La Bocca with Mediterranean views.
  • Hôtel Beaux Arts Bourges - set to open in 2027 in the historic district, ahead of Bourges’ European Capital of Culture 2028 designation.
  • Additional projects in La Baule and Paris - upcoming openings expanding options for travelers seeking urban or seaside accommodations.

Travelers staying in Paris’ Opéra district will find three notable attractions within walking distance. The Palais Garnier allows travelers to see one of the continent’s most celebrated opera venues. The historic Galeries Lafayette offers both shopping opportunities and notable architecture beneath its glass dome. Just a short walk away, Boulevard Haussmann runs through central Paris, offering shops, cafés, and restaurants where visitors can enjoy the city atmosphere between sightseeing.

In Cannes, the new resort will place visitors within easy reach of several notable coastal attractions. The seafront La Croisette is famous for its long promenade and beach views. Plage du Midi, a sandy public beach, offers swimming and relaxation close to the city center. Visitors seeking calm can take a brief ferry ride to Île Sainte-Marguerite, where walking paths and scenic shorelines offer a contrast to the bustling Riviera.

These openings offer more than additional accommodation options. They expand access to established cultural landmarks and leisure spots across France. By situating properties next to architectural icons, shopping avenues, and Mediterranean beaches, the projects offer practical benefits for both international tourists and domestic visitors. For travelers, the result is a broader set of accommodation choices that connect directly with major destinations and experiences throughout the country.
