Wizz Air has launched a direct flight from Hamburg to Yerevan, Armenia, operating three times per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. In December, the airline will begin nonstop services to Chișinău, Moldova, on December 12, and to Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on December 14. With these additions, Hamburg now offers twelve Wizz Air destinations. The expansion provides more direct options for travelers seeking access to Eastern Europe and simplifies travel planning for both short and longer trips.

Flight durations vary from Hamburg: approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes to Yerevan, around 2 hours and 25 minutes to Chișinău, and about 2 hours to Tuzla. Weekly departure schedules are:

  • Yerevan (HAM - EVN): Monday, Wednesday, Friday; departure at 09:15 (from November)
  • Chișinău (HAM - RMO): Monday, Wednesday, Friday; departure at 07:45, year-round
  • Tuzla (HAM - TZL): Thursday, Sunday; departure at 19:10, increasing to Monday, Wednesday, Friday from April 2026

These schedules provide travelers with predictable options for planning trips efficiently.

"We are very pleased to operate our first Wizz Air flight from Hamburg to Yerevan today. This expands our network further, providing our passengers with even more affordable travel options – to both popular and new destinations."
Roland Tischner, Managing Director at Wizz Air Hungary

The new routes open access to a selection of notable locations for visitors. Travelers can visit the Cascade Complex and Vernissage market in Yerevan, Valea Morilor Lake in Chișinău, and Panonska Lake in Tuzla. These four locations offer a blend of cultural attractions, outdoor spaces, and scenic views, giving travelers the chance to explore city highlights or enjoy nearby recreational areas during short or extended visits.

Additional points of interest include Lovers’ Park in Yerevan, Stefan Cel Mare Park in Chișinău, the Kapija Brčanska Gate in Tuzla, and the riverside Slatina area. These locations provide opportunities for outdoor leisure, sightseeing, and casual walks. Regular weekly departures allow travelers to schedule visits without long waits or additional travel, improving convenience for both spontaneous excursions and planned itineraries while maintaining flexible options for different types of trips.

Flights to Yerevan, Chișinău, and Tuzla make travel from Hamburg to Eastern Europe more direct and accessible. Direct services with consistent schedules reduce travel complications and provide reliable access to key landmarks and outdoor destinations. Travelers benefit from shorter journeys, a broader selection of locations, and easier planning for leisure or practical trips. Overall, the expanded network strengthens connections and offers practical options for exploring culturally and scenically important sites efficiently.
